Before coming to Quebec, I'd never seen a waterfall before. Now I can say I've seen five. Ha! I don't necessarily want to visit waterfalls since I live in the country and spend enough time in nature. Here I prefer to spend my time exploring the city.
But gosh darn it. The chance to photograph nature and waterfalls is too appealing! My inner naturalist comes out to play, but I can fully blame that on my Mother. She made sure that all of us appreciated nature growing up. Nature walks, species identification and sketching our insect finds were all part of the homeschooling package. I have very found memories of growing up in the country.
