1987

After school today I went and saw this Quebecois movie with some friends. (In French: Apres l'école je suis allé au cinema avec mes amis. J'ai regardé un film québécois appelé 1987.)

I didn't understand all of it, but I did understand the plot and many of the smaller phrases. Haha! As usual, the pace of the dialogue was insane. Think Gilmore Girls but in French. 

The soundtrack was really good and probably the only redeeming quality of this film. I could also write an entire essay about the symbolism of all the locked/jammed doors in this film. #englismajor 

HOWEVER.

It was trippy to watch a Quebecois film in Quebec with two Venezuelan guys. Talk about globalization!
